We first heard Doc Trashz’s name from our friends Zombies For Money and Blatta & Inesha, who told us that this was one Italian electro fiend we should really check out. We saw instantly how his tunes turned clubs into mosh pits, and ended up super geeked on his relentless and hard sound, which reminded us of the glory days of industrial-electro greats like The Hacker and Black Strobe. Like a lot of our Italian producer friends (such as Congorock and Crookers), Doc’s production is crazy crisp and clean, with immaculate kicks and arrangements that force all hands in the air. Ladies and gentlemen, we’re talking maximum pump factor.
For our second Heavy Bass Champions release of 2012 (and our first from Italy), we bring you two Doc Trashz hits for your peak-time rave set or midnight at the fetish club. Get your jack boots out and prepare to stampede the dance floor to “Devil Inside,” featuring sick synth work over whip-cracking kick drums and PVC-smooth drops. Not to mention our favorite part: the maniacal laughter that weaves in and out of the track – pure evil when it hits the speakers. This is backed with the equally menacing “Different Way,” a twisted dark rollercoaster with meteor-shower synths falling into a pit of growling bass and crispy snares. A surprisingly shimmering epic breakdown clears the air and lets some light in before the Space Mountain amphetamine aftermath ratchets up to full speed again.
If you like your music hard, heavy, and under control, then you’ll love our ripping nineteenth installment of Heavy Bass Champions of the World.
